Flavio Alves Damasceno, D.Sc. Universidade Federal de Lavras-UFLA, MG Brasil. In early 2018, he worked as a Visiting Researcher at the Farm Technology Group of Wageningen University (Netherlands), focusing on the calibration of low-cost sensors for gas monitoring in Compost Barn facilities. He holds a postdoctoral degree in Bioclimatology for Animals and Plants from the National University of Colombia – Medellín campus (2017). He earned a Ph.D. in Rural Construction and Environmental Control from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), with a sandwich program at the University of Kentucky in the Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering, where he also served as a visiting researcher. He holds a Master’s degree in Construction and Environmental Control from UFLA (2008), a specialization in Environmental Management and Practices in Agribusiness from UFLA (2008), and a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering from UFLA (2006).
